Dear Students
This final exam will give you an opportunity to
demonstrate that you have met the outcomes for Introduction to Poetry. You must
earn a C or grade better at this exam in order to earn a passing grade in the
course.
Please consider that I am going to ask you about the
last poems that we have read, especially those who are short. An exception
however is the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer. It will be wisely when you focus on
the original English and how the words have changed.
Please practice: Allusion, Alliteration, Metaphor,
Simile, Personification and Rhyme Scheme.

do not answer with “yes there is” J I
can’t give you some points for that answer, especially not at a final exam.
